Canal Winchester and Sandusky allow them and a few other cities including Cambridge are considering street-legal golf carts

Robert Fealy is one of about a dozen people in Canal Winchester who’s enjoying riding around town cheaply.

“I’ve filled my truck up once since Easter. Other than that, I drive my golf cart everywhere I go.”

This isn’t your typical golf cart, it has headlights, windshield, rearview mirror, horn and turn signals.

In addition to the car-like features, the carts must be titled, insured and driven by licensed drivers.
