A former deputy has been fired from his position with the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office for comments that he posted online.

Frank Diamond reportedly admitted to writing negative accusations against Sheriff Dave Phalen and other supervisors at the Sheriff’s Office on the Lancaster-Eagle Gazette’s online forum under a pseudonym.

Sheriff Phalen says Diamond was terminated for ‘violating several policy directives.’
