The Mayor’s Concert Series continues tonight on the Courthouse Square in Newark.
Special Events Coordinator Jeff Hotchkiss says tonight’s performance by the Dave Joseph Band has been rescheduled from June 13th...
“One of those days when we had the summer storms come through...It rained us out right at seven o’clock. So we had to reschedule it for our next open Friday night, and that’s this one.”
Hotchkiss says three other concerts are planned this summer...
“We’ll have another one on July 25th, and two in August...on August 8th and August 22nd.”
Tonight’s performance will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gazebo on the Court Square.
