Officials seized marijuana plants at a trailer in Crooksville Thursday afternoon.

The plants were found at the home of 33-year-old Jason Hill.

Police officers went to Hill’s house to return his wallet, which had been confiscated during a search in March. While they were there, officers noticed three marijuana plants growing on the property.

A new search warrant was issued and police found three more plants behind the property, as well as drug paraphernalia and a 22-caliber rifle inside Hill’s trailer.

Hill was taken to the Muskingum County Jail on an unrelated arrest warrant.

Charges are pending.
