The Ross County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery from Saturday morning.

Officials say two white men drove up to a house on Spargursville Road around 10:30 a.m. and demanded that a 52-year-old man give them his prescription medications.

The suspects reportedly had a gun with them and hit the victim over the head with a chain when he handed over the drugs.

The victim told authorities that the men also stole a chain saw and a saddle from his garage before they left.

The suspects have been described as being around 25-years-old, while the man holding the gun was about 6'1" tall with long brown hair, a long beard and was wearing tennis shoes, blue jeans and a dirty T-shirt.
